Elendil walks around the city, taking a short break from the chaos. He noticed the once grand walls of the city were dark and blood-stained, most likely caused by the grand battle. Elendil then noticed something out of the ordinary. He briefly caught a glimpse of a child hiding in between the bodies of the dead. Elendil walked toward the child. "Child... It is okay... I won't hurt you... the Orcs are dead little one." The child looked up at Elendil with frightened eyes. "Stay away... those Orcs attacked me. How do I know you are not one..." Elendil notices a wound on the boy, a minor cut on the arm. "Little one... you have been cut... let me tend to your wound. Do I look like an Orc? Elendil slowly put Nasil down on the ground. He then approaches the boy.
The boy hesitates, but then allows Elendil to inspect his arm. Elendil noticed hat the cut wasn't very serious. It looked like a scratch to him. "You'll be just fine boy... the cut isn't bad at all. What were you doing at a place like this? This city was under the control of Mordor before we came..." The boy starts crying with a scared expression in his face. "I wandered from the city. I was chasing a bird... but then I got lost after awhile. I came here thinking it was home... but I saw these scary Orcs. I want my mommy..." He hugs Elendil closely, not wanting him to let go. Elendil smiled. This boy had remind him of his own son, Eldarion, when he was his age. "Don't worry little one... I will take you home."
