Respect Others

Everybody is different. They hold various views, opinions, and beliefs, and it may occur that you find yourself in disagreement with another member's philosophy. We do not require you to accept any concepts against your will, but we do expect you to tolerate others as they will tolerate you. If a member is offending you, please contact a staff member.

Activity

We ask you to try to be regularly active. Disappearing for lengthy periods of time after taking up a major character will easily disturb and disrupt the flow of the plot. If you know that you will have a hard time staying active, don't take responsibility of a major character.

Rating

Our RP Community doesn't have limitations to what you can write about, so yes, violence, swearing and mature topics are allowed here. However, do not abuse this authority to make conversations posts unnecessarily vulgar or over-the-top. If a thread contains sexual or unusually violent content, please mark it so in the topic title.

No Double Accounts

__3__ character(s) is the limit of characters that you may control, and any attempts to break this rule WILL FAIL, and will lead to severe punishment.

Double Posting

Double posting is not allowed in any in-character threads, and even in out-of-character discussions it is not looked upon positively. Please stick to the editing option unless extremely needed, as you may be considered a spammer if you unnecessarily abuse the situation.

Image Sizes

Keep image sizes to an average. Oversized images will stretch out the board and will make it difficult for other members to read. If any of your images make it aesthetically uncomfortable for the site, a staff member will ask you to have it removed or resized.

Signatures

Always have a link to your biography and your collection thread for referencing purposes. It makes things a whole lot easier for others, especially staff, to get things going when we have easy access to the important information of your respective character. For smaller urls, use tinyurl.com.

The Staff

Listen to the staff if they ask you to do something. We try to do what's beneficial for this community, and we consider as a group before making any decisions of authority.

Common Sense

The rules aren't going to go into every single detail about every single possible situation that may occur in the future. Use common sense to determine if your actions will be appropriate for the site and toward others, and always think about the consequences that will follow.

Have Fun!

This RP Forum was created for recreational purposes. Try not to hold grudges against each other and remember that we're all here to enjoy.

Roleplaying Rules

Proper English

No, you don't need a master's degree in English to roleplay here. You are asked, however, to write with the best quality that you can produce, that including capitalization, punctuation, and other aspects of basic grammar. Other players need to read and understand posts.

No Godmodding

This is where a player abuses the information given in a roleplaying situation and controls what is not his to access. You may only control your character and very minor, unimportant people such as messengers, townsfolk, etc. Of course, to a reasonable extent. The movement of your troops is decided by a moderator at the final; you may only direct them and give orders.

No Metagaming

Another no-no in roleplaying. You may not use information that you have received out-of-character, unless it is reasonably clear that your character has obtained this knowledge. As much as you can see your opponent posting an ambush, your character won't know about it unless your spies find it and report back.

Personal Grudges

We honestly have no control over this, but we ask you to refrain from personally attacking another player in-character simply because of out-of-character issues that are unsettled. If you don't like somebody, then just avoid coming in contact with them instead of unreasonably ruining IC situations.
